  Melverley House is a period property in a quiet location on a hill above the historic town of Dartmouth in South Devon. The luxurious bed & breakfast rooms have views over the town, the River Dart and the countryside beyond. The self-catering annex (one double bedroom) has its own separate entrance and has use of the secluded front garden. A warm welcome (and a hospitality pack of basics) awaits your arrival for either type of accommodation.

A pleasant 10 minute walk down the hill takes you to the attractions of Dartmouth and the Dart Harbour. There you will find fine restaurants, cafés, pubs, shops, opportunities to sail, fish or row, a museum, an arts centre, public gardens, ferries to Kingswear, Dittisham or Dartmouth Castle plus many attractive and photogenic corners. The energetic will also enjoy the walk back up the hill to the peaceful environment of Melverley House. Alternatively you can take a short inexpensive taxi ride (£3 - £4 depending on time of day).
