The picture opposite was taken from the balcony of the Summer Breeze room. An almost identical view is seen from the bay window of the Forget-me-not room.

Dartmouth can be seen on this side of the River Dart and the Dart Harbour. Kingswear with Darthaven Marina can be seen on the opposite bank. On the hill above Kingswear, a little to the right, the daymark, which helps those at sea to find the shelter of the Dart Harbour, is clearly visible. And a bit further to the right is a substantial "glimpse" of the open sea.
